Unfair moi…

I have not blogged in a while on my precious little space here. And I feel absolutely terrible about it. Now I realize what artist’s block actually means! Maybe this has finally given me a feeling that I might even pass as an amateur artist (and loving the feeling 🙂 ). But I am also feeling very bad about ignoring this space. I have found out in recent times that I cannot post at all if there is nothing significant to post and I want to stand by it. I just wanted to inform those of you who follow my blog (I am eternally grateful to you all 🙂 ) that I will be back soon. This blog is mostly dedicated to photographs I click and when I have something I love you shall see it 🙂

Weekly Photo Challenge : Unfocused

I love the bokeh effect and this is one of my first successful bokeh pictures. I actually do not like unfocused photos at all and so this is my different take on the theme.

Marriage, not wedding

Marriage is something that sticks around and wedding is just a day. Today’s picture reminds me of a married couple, who have lived and grown together into a ripe old age and are satisfied with life’s givings. Now every afternoon they spend on their porch, you can just see they are happy, serene and content.

Song Saturday – 6

Scorching summer heat today gave way to a cloudy evening. It was such a relief! I was about to miss Song Saturday again! However this time I was going to post by hook or by crook. So today I thought of setting the mood to a little fusion – Indian folk and western. Indian artistes are Vishal – Shekhar duo and the Western artiste is Imogen Heap. This song was a part of this show called the Dewarists. Interesting song, do give it a listen.

Lead us where?

I was on a short vacation to Agra and Delhi few days back and there I saw this interesting structure at Fatehpur Sikri. As usual my post here is not going to be verbose. Just a click here and there.

Shades

I got my hands on the sexy babe, Nikon D3100. At the risk of being sleazy, I haven’t been able to take my hands off it!!! Its a work of art which lets me accomplish my passion. I have been taking pictures the whole weekend. I personally don’t like tilted frames. But somehow I ended up getting a good picture, at least it looked pleasant to me.

Oh shoot!! My Song Saturdays are consistently becoming Song Mondays, apologies! Again I will not be available next Saturday, but stay tuned for a very special guest post 🙂 .

My pick for this week is a song very dear to my heart. It has been my ringtone for over a year and I just love the beats of this song. Enjoy 🙂

 

Song Saturday – 3

I know the post says Saturday and I know despite that I am posting on Monday. But please pardon me as I was out of station with no internet access whatsoever. So my pick for this week is this really slow paced track by Zee Avi. Its called ‘Concrete Wall’. I agree this song is not the genre I usual prefer. But I was watching some recent episode of Gossip Girl (maybe I should write a post on why I watch Gossip Girl because that’s pretty unlike me too! 😉 ) and this beautiful, soft track was what they chose for a particular scene. I really loved it and enjoyed it thoroughly. So here it is –
